NFC Pilot Academy have vacancies for front of house Operational Staff. Candidates must have excellent communication and customer service skills. You will provide first class service to our students and visitors and work in close partnership with other departments within NFC, ensuring high standards of professionalism and service at all times. You will work as part of a team and must be able to build and maintain positive relationships within and across teams.
Main Role & Responsibilities:
General reception duties, welcoming students/visitors and dealing with enquiries
Booking and accurately scheduling student training flights and ground training events in our IT system
Monitoring of activities to ensure minimum delays to the daily planned timetable
Processing student and customer payments
Opening and closing the building on a daily basis
General administration tasks
Professional approach to all situations
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Friendly manner when dealing with students and customers
Show attention to detail
Neat and tidy appearance
Possess and display initiative
Hours of Work
Operations staff work a 4 day on 4 day off roster. During the winter period the airport normally operates between the hours of 08:30 to 17:00 whereas in the summer period the finishing time extends to 20:30 two days of the week. The attendance of Operations staff is required to fulfil these hours as part of a contract of service that can accommodate flexibilities for both parties.
